We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our small, fast-paced industrial distribution center. The Warehouse Coordinator will play a key role in managing day-to-day operations, overseeing inventory control, and ensuring the timely and accurate distribution of products.

My client is an Italian based company that designs, manufactures and sells special machinery worldwide for different industries such as converting and packaging.

Job Description

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Shipping & Receiving activities:
    • Unload carrier trucks (usually small boxes or pallets; no forklift needed)
    • Check the contents of each box verifying the status of the goods.
    • Take photos and store electronically for all incoming shipments.
    • Match the received parts with the purchase order issued to the supplier in our system.
    • Prepare the box for shipment according to IMS, IMS' customers and carriers' standards
    • Take photos and store electronically for all outgoing shipments.
    • Keep track of shipments from suppliers.
      • Contact carriers when shipment exceptions occur, e.g., delay, damage, missed pick ups
    • Inventory Management:
      • Manage inventory software when receive/ship/store parts
      • Physically manage the inventory storing accurately parts
        • Ability to lift boxes up to 40 lbs.
        • Ability to use warehouse equipment hand truck, pallet jack, banding machine, small tools
      • Create parts labels and packing lists
    • Warehouse:
      • Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse
      • Inventory and maintenance of the tools in our warehouse

  • Basic spare parts knowledge

  • Oracle and JD Edwards skills
