Job Description

  • Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews
  • Run scrap events and implement corrective actions
  • Focus on improving yield and factory improvements
  • Put plans in place to improve factory performance tied to FA and customer returns
  • Improve yield improvements on new products and RMA reduction
  • Prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards
  • Analyze and modify current product processes and implement improvements.
  • Review all documents related to product quality
  • Support the ongoing implementation and continuous improvement

The Successful Applicant

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • 3-5+ years of experience working in an electronics manufacturer
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to drive for results
  • Proven track record of enhancing yield
  • Familiar with Lean Manufacturing Principals
  • Working knowledge of SPC, Design of Experiments and Gage Design
  • Proven analytical and organizational ability
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills
