With a commitment to quality, efficiency, and compliance, the company serves a diverse customer base in the dietary supplement industry.Job DescriptionProduction OperationsLead and supervise day-to-day production activities to ensure schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements are met.Coordinate staffing, workflow, and production priorities to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions when targets are not achieved.Ensure manufacturing documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.Support production start-ups, changeovers, and troubleshooting activities.Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Planning teams to meet operational objectives.Team Leadership & DevelopmentSupervise, coach, and develop production employees to achieve departmental goals.Conduct employee training, performance feedback, and ongoing skills development.Promote accountability, teamwork, and a positive workplace culture.Assist in workforce planning, scheduling, and employee engagement initiatives.Support hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts.Quality & ComplianceEnsure all products are manufactured in compliance with cGMP regulations, SOPs, batch records, and company quality standards.Partner with Quality Assurance to investigate deviations, non-conformances, and corrective actions.Maintain audit readiness and support internal, customer, and regulatory inspections.Verify compliance with sanitation, documentation, and production control requirements.Ensure adherence to dietary supplement manufacturing regulations and industry best practices.Safety & Continuous ImprovementFoster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all workplace safety procedures.Conduct routine safety observations and address hazards promptly.Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost performance.Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.Inventory & Materials ManagementMonitor material usage and production yields.Coordinate the availability of raw materials, packaging, and work-in-process inventory.Minimise waste and support inventory accuracy initiatives.Ensure proper line clearance, reconciliation, and product accountability procedures are followed.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
