Job Description



Responsibilities:

  • Lead manufacturing process development and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Design, develop, and implement tooling, fixtures, and production support equipment.
  • Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing standards.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and Program teams to solve production challenges.
  • Support production personnel through technical guidance and process training.
  • Develop process controls and implement statistical process control (SPC) methodologies where appropriate.
  • Identify and justify new manufacturing equipment, tooling, and capital investments.
  • Drive improvements focused on quality, cost reduction, throughput, and on-time delivery.
  • Support qualification, testing, and production activities for complex engineered products.

The Successful Applicant



Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience within a low-to-medium volume manufacturing environment.
  • Experience developing manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixture solutions.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and mechanical manufacturing principles.
  • Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience with MES systems and data-driven process improvement initiatives.
  • Background in aerospace, defense, precision manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries preferred.
  • Experience supporting cleanroom operations, qualification hardware, advanced testing, or high-reliability products is a plus.
