Job Description

  • Lead on-site construction activities for K-12 projects, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Worked on school projects $20M+
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to meet project schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Monitor project progress, address issues, and implement solutions promptly.
  • Inspect work quality and resolve any discrepancies with project plans.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project status.
  • Manage site logistics and oversee material deliveries and inventory.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed site documentation and reports.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Traveling Superintendent should have:

  • Experience with managing construction projects, particularly K-12 schools.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage on-site teams.
  • Ability to travel regularly as required by project locations.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
