Job Description

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and managing construction projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Collaborate with the project team to monitor budgets, resources, and timelines.
  • Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to coordinate project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards on-site.
  • Track project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
  • Support the Superintendent in resolving on-site challenges effectively.
  • Conduct quality control checks to maintain high construction standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the construction department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager (APM) / Assistant Superintendent should have:

  • A background in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to handle project challenges.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with construction software and project management tools.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to managing responsibilities.
