We are seeking an Applications Engineer to join a growing team focused on delivering customer-driven industrial solutions. This role combines engineering, technical sales support, and project coordination, working directly with customers to develop tailored solutions. The Applications Engineer will serve as a key liaison between sales, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure successful project execution.

Job Description

  • Review customer requirements and develop technical solutions to meet application needs
  • Interpret customer drawings, specifications, and project requirements
  • Perform engineering calculations and product selection activities
  • Create technical proposals, quotations, and solution recommendations
  • Estimate project costs using engineering analysis, historical data, and company tools
  • Serve as a technical resource for customers, sales teams, and internal departments
  • Coordinate project handoffs to engineering teams upon order receipt
  • Support product testing, data collection, and performance evaluations
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and customer training
  • Participate in customer visits, trade shows, and occasional field support activities
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously while managing deadlines and priorities
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering tools, processes, and documentation

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred
  • 2-5 years of engineering experience within manufacturing, industrial equipment, process systems, or related industries
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • CAD experience required
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Self-starter with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset

What's on Offer
