Job Description

The Senior Asset Manager will report to senior company leadership and will be responsible for driving operational performance, executing asset strategies, and maximising returns across a growing residential portfolio.

  • Lead property onboarding and transition processes, coordinating with development, construction, and third-party management partners.
  • Manage lease-up performance across newly delivered residential assets, ensuring occupancy, rental growth, and revenue targets are achieved.
  • Execute approved asset business plans to drive net operating income growth, occupancy improvements, and long-term value creation.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, reforecasting, and financial performance analysis across assigned assets.
  • Develop and implement leasing strategies, including rental positioning, concession management, and performance optimisation.
  • Hold third-party property management partners accountable through performance monitoring and regular operational reviews.
  • Partner with internal development, finance, accounting, and operational teams to support portfolio growth, reporting, and strategic initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

For the Senior Asset Manager we are seeking:

  • 6+ years of experience within asset management, owner-operator environments, principal investing, or real estate ownership platforms.
  • Proven track record managing multifamily residential assets, lease-ups, and operational performance.
  • Strong understanding of occupancy management, rental growth strategies, and revenue optimisation.
  • Experience working closely with development, construction, brokerage, and property management teams.
  • Advanced financial and analytical capabilities including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and business plan execution.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate asset performance to senior leadership.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, ownership-driven approach to problem solving.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple assets simultaneously within a high-growth environment.
