Job Description

Our Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Assist Project Managers with the successful delivery of healthcare, life science, and institutional construction projects.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and schedule management efforts.
  • Manage and track RFIs, submittals, ASIs, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain project logs, meeting minutes, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with contract administration and subcontractor management.
  • Monitor procurement schedules and long-lead equipment deliveries.
  • Support project financial reporting and cost control efforts.
  • Participate in owner, architect, consultant, and subcontractor meetings.
  • Coordinate project closeout activities, punch lists, turnover packages, and warranty documentation.
  • Ensure project records remain organized, accurate, and up to date.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Assistant Project Manager will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience working for a General Contractor.
  • Experience supporting commercial, healthcare, life science, institutional, or industrial projects preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation and project controls.
  • Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project tracking logs.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction management software.
  • Desire to develop into a Project Manager within a growing organization.
