The company specializes in multifamily, student housing, life science, hospitality, office, and mixed-use developments, with projects typically ranging from $50M to more than $200M in value. The Assistant Superintendent will join a collaborative team environment focused on quality, safety, and professional growth. The Assistant Superintendent plays a critical role in supporting successful project execution while working alongside experienced construction leaders on some of the region's most notable developments.

Job Description

  • Assist with the day-to-day management of field operations on large-scale construction projects valued at $60M+.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.
  • Support project leadership with site logistics, planning, and overall project execution.
  • Monitor construction activities to maintain quality standards and compliance with project requirements.
  • Help enforce safety procedures and promote a strong culture of jobsite safety.
  • The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with subcontractors to track progress, resolve field issues, and maintain project momentum.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate updates with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Assist with scheduling and sequencing activities to support timely project completion.
  • The Assistant Superintendent will help identify and address field challenges while supporting daily site operations.
  • Maintain project documentation, site reports, and progress tracking as needed.
  • The Assistant Superintendent will play a key role in delivering multifamily, student housing, mixed-use, and commercial developments ranging from $50M to $200M+.

The Successful Applicant

  • 2+ years of experience working for a General Contractor.
  • Experience on projects valued at $60M+.
  • Background in multifamily, student housing, mixed-use, or similar commercial construction sectors.
  • Strong understanding of field operations, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Knowledge of construction safety practices and quality control procedures.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.
