Job Description

  • Assist the Superintendent with the day-to-day management of commercial construction projects.
  • Coordinate field activities, subcontractors, vendors, and project logistics.
  • Support project scheduling efforts, including maintaining and updating three-week look-ahead schedules.
  • Perform daily site walks to monitor quality, safety, and project progress.
  • Ensure subcontractors adhere to project schedules, safety requirements, and quality expectations.
  • Maintain project documentation, reports, and logs using Procore.
  • Assist with inspections, punch-list management, and project closeout activities.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to drive successful project execution.
  • Help maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
  • Participate in client meetings and coordination efforts when required.

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-3 years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent within commercial construction.
  • Experience working on corporate interiors, tenant improvements, Class A office fit-outs, or law firm projects preferred.
  • Exposure to managing portions of projects independently or leading smaller scopes of work.
  • Experience supporting projects ranging from approximately $2.5M to $40M in value.
  • Proficiency with Procore is required.
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office for scheduling, reporting, and project coordination.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with subcontractors, clients, and project teams.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety standards and quality control practices.
  • Desire to grow into a Lead Superintendent role.
