Backed by billions in completed development volume, they offer employees long-term career growth, project continuity, and exposure to every phase of the development and construction process.Job DescriptionThe Assistant Superintendent - Large-Scale Multifamily - NoVA will:Support the Senior Superintendent in managing all phases of ground-up multifamily construction.Assist with the execution of a new 8-story podium-style apartment community in Ashburn, VA.Take ownership of designated portions of the project, managing daily field operations and subcontractor activities.Coordinate construction activities across structural concrete, wood framing, MEP systems, drywall, finishes, and turnover.Monitor project schedules, quality standards, and site safety requirements.Conduct subcontractor coordination meetings and maintain workflow between trades.Ensure project milestones are met while maintaining budget, schedule, and quality expectations.Utilize Procore and MS Project to track progress, documentation, and scheduling.Enforce OSHA safety standards and contribute to a safe, productive jobsite environment.Collaborate closely with field leadership, project management teams, and subcontractors throughout the build lifecycle.Upon successful completion of the current project, transition to future multifamily developments within the region.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
