An established commercial GC is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support ground-up and select interior commercial projects across the Atlanta market and Southeast. This is a growth-focused hire for someone who wants exposure to automotive, aviation, industrial/warehouse, retail, office, recreational, and specialty commercial construction, with the intention of developing into a lead Superintendent role.

Job Description

    • Support the Superintendent with daily onsite operations
    • Report to the Sr. Superintendent
    • Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, inspections, and site logistics
    • Assist with maintaining project schedules and short-term planning
    • Track RFIs, submittals, punch lists, and project documentation
    • Utilize Procore to maintain accurate field and project information
    • Monitor quality control and jobsite safety
    • Participate in subcontractor meetings and project coordination
    • Develop the field leadership skills needed to independently run future projects

The Successful Applicant

  • Previous Assistant Superintendent or commercial field experience
  • Ground-up commercial construction experience strongly preferred
  • Open to candidates with a combination of ground-up and interior experience
  • Experience within mixed commercial sectors, including:
    • Automotive Dealerships
    • Aviation
    • Industrial & Warehouse
    • Parks & Recreational
    • Office & Financial
    • Restaurants & Retail
    • Parking Decks & Specialty Projects
  • Proficient with Procore and comfortable utilizing construction technology
  • Strong communication and subcontractor coordination skills
  • Open to Atlanta-local candidates and Southeast travelers
  • Career-driven individual looking to progress into a Superintendent position
