This general contractor is local to Palm Beach County, FL is seeking for an Assistant Superintendent to join their team. They are focused in and highly reputable in the luxury, single family home sector of residential construction. Job Description

  • Assist the Superintendent with daily on-site construction activities.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries.
  • Monitor project schedules and help maintain critical milestones.
  • Conduct daily site walks to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Support safety initiatives and enforce company safety standards.
  • Track project progress and communicate updates to the Superintendent and Project Manager.
  • Assist with inspections and coordinate with local building officials.
  • Maintain jobsite cleanliness, organization, and professionalism.
  • Help identify and resolve construction issues before they impact schedule or quality.
  • Participate in punch list completion and project closeout activities.
  • Ensure homes are delivered with exceptional quality and client satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

  • 2+ years of construction experience, preferably in custom residential construction.
  • Strong understanding of residential building practices and construction sequencing.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
  • Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.
