Job Description

  • Assist the Superintendent in managing daily construction site operations.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site protocols.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and address any challenges proactively.
  • Support quality control efforts to meet project specifications and standards.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients and team members.
  • Manage site documentation and assist with project closeout activities.
  • Help resolve on-site issues to keep the project moving efficiently.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Superintendent should have:

  • Experience with construction projects in the commercial, grocery or retail sector.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in commercial construction
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of construction safety regulations and practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks in a busy environment.
