Job Description

As an Assistant Superintendent, you will:

  • Assist with the day-to-day management of construction sites
  • Support Superintendents in coordinating subcontractors and vendors
  • Monitor project schedules and help maintain production goals
  • Conduct site walks and monitor quality control
  • Help enforce jobsite safety policies and procedures
  • Coordinate deliveries, logistics, and site activities
  • Review project plans and specifications
  • Track project progress and report field updates
  • Assist with documenting daily reports and project records
  • Support punch list completion and project closeout efforts
  • Maintain strong communication with project teams and stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years of construction field experience
  • Experience as an Assistant Superintendent, Foreman, Project Engineer, or similar role preferred
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction practices
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA and construction safety standards
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced jobsite environment
  • Proficiency with construction technology and reporting tools is a plus
  • A desire to grow into a Superintendent leadership role
