Job Description

  • Develop and execute comprehensive internal audit plans and strategies.
  • Lead and manage internal audit projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Evaluate and improve risk management, control, and governance processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address key business risks.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Prepare and present detailed audit reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure audit processes remain effective.
  • Mentor and guide audit team members to achieve professional development goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Associate Director of Internal Audit should have:

  • Experience with internal audit processes within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and risk management practices.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills to present findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • A relevant degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or equivalent are a plus.
