Job Description

  • Support senior leadership in leading Power Delivery projects across transmission, distribution, substations, protection and controls, interconnection, and related electrical infrastructure
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight for engineering, design, project execution, and quality control activities
  • Manage, mentor, and support Project Managers, engineers, designers, and technical staff within the Power Delivery team
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients on active projects, ensuring clear communication, strong relationships, and successful project delivery
  • Assist in managing project performance, including scope, budget, schedule, staffing, and resource planning
  • Partner with leadership on business development efforts, including maintaining existing client relationships and supporting new opportunities
  • Help grow and develop the team through recruiting, onboarding, mentorship, and technical development
  • Support operational improvements by helping refine internal processes, standards, workflows, and delivery practices
  • Assist with annual planning efforts, including forecasting, staffing needs, project backlog, and market growth initiatives
  • Help ensure consistency, quality, and technical excellence across project deliverables
  • Support coordination across internal teams, clients, utilities, and external project stakeholders
  • Promote a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team environment

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field; PE license preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in Power Delivery, electric utility, consulting, or related power infrastructure work
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: transmission, distribution, substations, protection and controls, power system studies, interconnection, or utility infrastructure
  • Proven experience managing projects, leading teams, and supporting client relationships
  • Ability to provide technical oversight while also supporting project management, staffing, and operational needs
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff and develop engineering or design talent
  • Strong understanding of engineering and design workflows for power delivery projects
  • Experience working with utility clients, renewable energy clients, developers, or large-scale infrastructure clients preferred
  • Interest in growing into a broader senior leadership role with increasing responsibility over time
