Job Description

This Automation Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Leading automation and capital equipment projects from concept through implementation
  • Programming and troubleshooting PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment
  • Integrating and optimizing robotic systems across production operations
  • Designing EOAT, fixtures, tooling, and automation solutions using CAD software
  • Conducting root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on uptime, efficiency, and quality

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Automation Engineer will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • 5+ years of automation, robotics, controls, or manufacturing engineering experience
  • Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting expertise
  • Experience integrating and programming industrial robotics
  • EOAT and fixture design experience
  • Knowledge of vision systems, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and motion controls
  • CAD proficiency, preferably SolidWorks
  • Experience leading automation or capital equipment projects
