Job Description

This position will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

  • Participating in engineering design review preparation and providing design inputs to engineering teams.
  • Creating detailed designs and drawings for new products, fabrication fixtures and test fixtures.
  • Contributing to the conceptual design of new products in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Developing and maintaining engineering documentation packages.
  • Providing technical support to project teams from the design phase through product build.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and applicable standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant design or drafting experience.
  • Proficiency with CAD software, including SolidWorks.
  • Experience with Creo, AutoCAD and/or Inventor preferred.
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Ability to meet requirements associated with U.S. export-controlled technologies (ITAR/EAR).
