Chemicals - Engineering Manager - Narragansett, RI

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of engineers supporting manufacturing operations and process performance.
• Drive process optimization initiatives focused on yield, throughput, cost, and stability.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for process deviations, equipment issues, and quality concerns.
• Oversee raw material qualification, supplier technical interactions, and material performance evaluation.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS teams to ensure stable and compliant manufacturing processes.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts using data-driven and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Support capital projects including equipment upgrades, process improvements, and capacity expansions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Support new product introductions and process scale-up activities.
• Maintain strong engineering documentation, standards, and technical knowledge systems.
