The company specializes in roadways, utilities, earthworks, drainage systems, public works, and commercial site development, serving both public and private sector clients.With a strong project pipeline, stable leadership team, and commitment to excellence, the organization offers employees the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while growing their careers within a collaborative and team-focused environment.Job DescriptionPrepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for civil construction projects.Review bid documents, plans, specifications, geotechnical reports, and contract requirements.Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs to develop competitive pricing strategies.Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.Develop complete bid proposals and ensure submissions are accurate and compliant with client requirements.Collaborate with Project Managers, Operations teams, and senior leadership during the bid process.Identify project risks, constructability concerns, and value engineering opportunities.Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walkthroughs as required.Maintain and update estimating databases, production rates, and historical cost information.Assist in project handoffs to operations teams following successful contract awards.Track market trends, material pricing, and labor costs to improve estimate accuracy.Participate in bid review meetings and present project cost analyses to management.Support negotiations related to pricing, scope changes, and contract terms when required.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
