Job Description

  • Prepare and review civil engineering designs, plans, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously from planning and design through permitting and construction.
  • Coordinate with clients, municipalities, regulatory agencies, contractors, and project teams.
  • Perform site design, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, and erosion control plans.
  • Prepare permit applications and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct engineering calculations, analyses, and feasibility studies.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Review construction documents and provide support during construction administration.
  • Participate in client meetings and project presentations.
  • Mentor junior engineering staff and provide technical guidance when needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 4-10+ years of relevant civil engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Experience with land development, municipal, transportation, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of New Jersey design standards, permitting requirements, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
