Job Description

  • Develop and optimize CMM programs using PC-DMIS across various CMM platforms
  • Execute First Article Inspections (FAI) in line with AS9102 standards
  • Interpret detailed engineering drawings and GD&T requirements (ASME Y14.5)
  • Partner with engineering, machining, and quality teams to resolve dimensional issues
  • Manage inspection routines for complex, high-mix components
  • Support AS9100 audits and maintain compliance documentation
  • Generate detailed inspection reports and measurement data analysis
  • Contribute to PPAP, FAIR documentation, and control plan development
  • Maintain calibration records and support equipment qualification processes

The Successful Applicant

  • 7+ years of CMM programming experience in precision manufacturing
  • Strong expertise in PC-DMIS (offline programming preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with Hexagon CMM equipment
  • Advanced GD&T knowledge (ASME Y14.5)
  • Experience working within AS9100 quality systems
  • Proven track record performing and leading FAI per AS9102
  • Ability to interpret complex drawings and 3D CAD models (CATIA, SolidWorks, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of MSA, calibration, and measurement uncertainty
