Job Description

  • Perform dimensional inspections using CMM to verify conformance to engineering drawings
  • Create, edit, and maintain CMM programs and inspection documentation
  • Analyze measurement data and report quality issues to engineering and leadership
  • Investigate discrepancies and resolve inspection or measurement inaccuracies
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and QMS requirements
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, traceability, and product status
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams on part quality and process capability
  • Support training of team members on CMM operation and inspection procedures

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of hands-on CMM programming or operating experience
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
  • Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Understanding of quality systems such as ISO 9001
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required ; technical training a plus
