Working with industry-leading customers on complex, high-precision products, the organisation offers a collaborative environment where employees are empowered to make a real impact and develop their careers.Job DescriptionDevelop, modify, validate, and troubleshoot CMM programmes for new and existing products.Program and operate CMM equipment using PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar metrology software.Interpret complex engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications, and GD&T requirements.Define inspection methods, measurement strategies, datum structures, and probe configurations.Perform dimensional inspections using CMMs, vision systems, and precision measuring equipment.Complete First Article Inspections and generate detailed inspection reports.Create inspection plans and automated inspection routines for product launches and validation activities.Conduct Gage R&R studies, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and process capability studies.Analyse inspection data to support process improvements and engineering initiatives.Participate in design and drawing reviews to improve manufacturability and inspectability.Assist with inspection fixture development and measurement setup design.Support calibration and verification activities for inspection equipment.Provide metrology expertise to Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Tooling teams.Train and mentor team members on inspection techniques and equipment operation.Maintain accurate quality documentation and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
