We are seeking a CMM Programmer who has hands-on experience creating, modifying, proving out, and optimizing inspection programs using Zeiss Calypso software. This role combines programming, inspection, troubleshooting, and quality analysis in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where accuracy and continuous improvement are critical.

Job Description

  • Create new programs and modify existing CMM inspection plans using Calypso, CAD models, and engineering drawings
  • Prove out inspection programs, perform GR&R studies, and troubleshoot programming issues
  • Conduct hands-on inspections using CMMs and traditional measurement equipment
  • Support prototype development and production quality initiatives
  • Analyze inspection results and SPC data to drive process improvements
  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve dimensional and quality concerns

The Successful Applicant

A successful CMM Programmer should have:

  • Experience programming CMMs, preferably using Zeiss Calypso
  • Strong understanding of GD&T including true position, MMC, datums, and feature identification
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models
  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of SPC, GR&R studies, and quality inspection processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; SolidWorks or other CAD experience is a plus
