This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machine tools to produce high-precision components used in electromechanical products. Job Description

The key responsibilities the CNC Machinist are:

  • Set up and operate CNC machining centers and related equipment.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and specifications.
  • Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine components required for production.
  • Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Make offsets and adjustments to maintain part quality and production efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to resolve manufacturing concerns.
  • Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
  • Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, and waste reduction.

The Successful Applicant

The successful CNC Machinist will have the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or trade school education preferred.
  • 3+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment
  • Knowledge of GD&T principles preferred.
