Job Description

This CNC Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Supporting machining processes and equipment daily
  • Collaborating with engineering and production teams
  • Analyzing and planning tooling and equipment needs
  • Designing and updating mechanical drawings
  • Creating and maintaining work instructions and documentation
  • Implementing engineering change orders (ECOs)
  • Troubleshooting production issues on the shop floor
  • Training operators on new or updated processes
  • Designing fixtures using CAD tools
  • Driving Lean manufacturing improvements
  • Recommending new equipment, tooling, and materials
  • Supporting new equipment validation and implementation
  • Reviewing and resolving non-conforming material

The Successful Applicant

A Successful CNC Manufacturing Engineer will have:

  • 3-5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Experience supporting machining environments
  • Strong understanding of CNC processes (5-axis preferred)
  • CAD experience for fixture design
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
  • Ability to work hands-on with shop floor teams
  • Experience with tooling and equipment planning
  • U.S. Citizenship required (ITAR environment)
