They are known for investing in modern equipment, LEAN processes, and continuous improvement initiatives to stay at the forefront of manufacturing excellence.Job DescriptionSupport CNC machining operations and provide technical expertise to the machine shopDevelop, review, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product qualityAnalyze tooling, equipment, and workflow requirements to enhance production capabilitiesCreate and maintain engineering documentation, including work instructions and mechanical drawingsImplement and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production staff to identify root causes and drive improvementsDesign fixtures and tooling using CAD softwareRecommend and support new equipment acquisition, installation, and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)Develop and implement lean manufacturing practices, including optimized work cell layoutsTrain manufacturing personnel on updated processes and best practicesSupport new product introduction by evaluating manufacturability and resource requirementsReview and disposition non-conforming materials in collaboration with quality teamsProvide input on production planning, cost estimates, and manufacturing feasibilityMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
