Job Description

  • Develop, program, and optimize CNC machining processes for complex components
  • Create and validate complete manufacturing plans, including tooling, fixtures, and workholding solutions
  • Lead process improvements focused on cycle time reduction, efficiency, and cost optimization
  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues to ensure production reliability
  • Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications to ensure precise manufacturing output
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) activities, including process validation and launch readiness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing performance and production outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across machining operations

The Successful Applicant

  • Extensive experience in CNC programming within a precision machining environment (typically 7+ years)
  • Proven ability to independently develop, test, and refine CNC programs for complex parts
  • Strong expertise in manufacturing process development, including tooling and setup optimization
  • Solid understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and machining best practices
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve technical issues autonomously
  • Experience with multi-axis machining (4-axis/5-axis) is advantageous
  • Background in aerospace, defense, medical, or other high-spec manufacturing industries preferred
  • Degree in engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
