Job Description

The CNC Manufacturing Engineer will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

Develop, implement, and optimize CNC machining processes for new and existing products.
Create and maintain CNC programs using CAM software and support machine setup and troubleshooting activities.
Design and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity, reduce cycle times, and minimize scrap.
Select and evaluate cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding solutions to maximize machining efficiency.
Support new product introductions (NPI) through process development, validation, and production readiness activities.
Analyze production data and implement corrective actions to improve quality, throughput, and equipment utilization.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
Generate and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process sheets, FMEAs, and control plans.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts related to machining and manufacturing challenges.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence tools.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
4+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role within a machining or industrial manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience supporting CNC milling and/or turning operations.
Proficiency with CNC programming and CAM software.
Strong understanding of machining processes, GD&T, blueprint reading, and manufacturing best practices.
Experience troubleshooting machining, tooling, and process-related issues.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
