They operate in a regulated, advanced manufacturing environment with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Provide primary engineering support for machining processes and equipmentAnalyze and define tooling, fixturing, and equipment needs for machine shop operationsDevelop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and mechanical drawingsCreate and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actionsCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality teamsDesign fixtures using CAD and improve manufacturability of productsSupport capital equipment selection, justification, and implementationLead equipment validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ)Train operators and technicians on updated processesDrive Lean initiatives, including work cell layout and workflow improvementsReview and disposition non-conforming materialsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
