The organization encourages professional growth, values technical expertise, and provides engineers with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both operational performance and customer success.Job DescriptionDevelop and implement manufacturing processes for new and existing CNC-machined components.Create, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.Design and develop tooling, fixturing, workholding solutions, and machining strategies for complex parts.Evaluate product specifications and customer requirements to determine the most effective manufacturing approach.Support quoting activities by estimating cycle times, production costs, and manufacturing feasibility.Partner with machinists and production personnel to improve process efficiency, quality, safety, and throughput.Lead new product introduction activities and assist with prototype development.Collaborate with quality teams to ensure compliance with dimensional and customer requirements.Analyze manufacturing challenges and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime and improve productivity.Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and engineering records.Work closely with suppliers and vendors regarding equipment, tooling, materials, and outsourced processes.Participate in customer discussions to provide technical expertise and manufacturing guidance.Support sales and business development efforts through technical input, presentations, and proposal development.Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, yield improvement, and operational excellence.Stay current with emerging manufacturing technologies, machining methods, and industry best practices.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
