Job Description

  • Develop, test, and modify CNC programs for precision-machined components.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to create efficient machining processes.
  • Utilize CAD/CAM software to generate toolpaths and machine programs.
  • Perform quality verification activities to ensure products meet customer and engineering requirements.
  • Optimize tooling, machine settings, and manufacturing processes to improve productivity while maintaining quality.
  • Troubleshoot machining and programming challenges to minimize downtime.
  • Support and train operators on CNC programming and machine operation best practices.
  • Create detailed drawings, tooling concepts, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Assist with inspection documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of CNC programming or advanced machining experience.
  • Strong background with lathes, mills, grinders, and modern machining equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and quality systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Must qualify as a U.S. Person due to export control and ITAR requirements.
