Job Description

The CNC Programmer will be responsible for translating engineering designs into efficient machine programs using CAD/CAM software, primarily Mastercam. This role involves analysing technical drawings, developing machining processes, and supporting production teams during setup and program validation to ensure optimal performance.

  • Develop and optimise CNC programs for mills, lathes, and WEDM.
  • Analyse drawings to determine tooling, speeds, feeds, and processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in cycle times, tooling, and workflow.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming within a precision manufacturing environment, with deep expertise in Mastercam and exposure to multi-axis machining. They will be detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable collaborating with engineering and shop floor teams to deliver high-quality, efficient production outcomes.

  • Minimum 6 years' CNC programming or equivalent experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Mastercam and CAD/CAM software.
  • Solid understanding of machining processes, tooling, and GD&T.
