Job Description

As the Jr. Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of commercial construction projects while partnering closely with operations and business development teams.

  • Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates for commercial construction projects
  • Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop complete project pricing
  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving recommendations
  • Collaborate with project management and operations teams during preconstruction
  • Support proposal submissions and help secure new business opportunities

The Successful Applicant

For the Jr. Estimator we are seeking:

  • 3-5 years of estimating experience within commercial construction
  • Experience estimating Class A office, high-rise, and tenant improvement projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing strategies
  • Experience performing accurate quantity takeoffs and bid analysis
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency in construction estimating software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative team environment
