Job Description

As a Construction Assistant Project Manager - Long Island, NY you will:

  • Assist Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial interior projects.
  • Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout packages.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and ownership teams.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, and procurement activities.
  • Attend project meetings and provide updates on project progress.
  • Support field operations to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Assistant Project Manager - Long Island, NY should have:

    • 2-5 years of construction experience with a General Contractor.
    • Commercial interior construction experience required.
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
    • Strong understanding of construction documents, RFIs, submittals, and project scheduling.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
