The Successful Applicant

The right candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
  • 3-7 years of experience in commercial construction estimating or preconstruction.
  • Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, building systems, and project sequencing.
  • Ability to review and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and civil plans and specifications.
  • Proven experience developing conceptual budgets, comprehensive estimates, and bid submissions.
  • Familiarity with CSI divisions and effective coordination across trades.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and estimating software tools.
  • Strong analytical thinking, organizational abilities, and clear communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Able to stay organized and effective in high-pressure situations.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and ownership in all responsibilities.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-focused with a collaborative, positive attitude.
