A well‑established construction firm specializing in complex commercial and institutional projects is seeking a Preconstruction Estimator to support early‑phase cost planning. Job Description

  • Prepare conceptual, schematic, and GMP estimates across multiple trades.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs, scope reviews, and cost analysis.
  • Solicit and level subcontractor proposals.
  • Identify scope gaps, risks, and value‑engineering opportunities.
  • Support design reviews and advise on cost impacts.
  • Collaborate with project management and field teams during project handoff.

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-7 years of estimating experience, including work on complex or specialized building projects.
  • Strong understanding of multi‑phase construction environments.
  • Proficiency with estimating/takeoff software (Destini, OST, Bluebeam, BuildingConnected, etc.).
  • Detail‑oriented, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple bids.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, accountable work style.
