Job Description

  • Provide executive leadership across construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Partner with company leadership to develop and execute strategic business objectives, operational initiatives, and growth plans.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop project executives, project managers, superintendents, and operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Drive operational efficiency and consistency through the implementation of best practices, processes, systems, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor project portfolios, financial performance, forecasting, risk management, and resource allocation to ensure successful business outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, owners, developers, architects, engineers, and trade partners to support project success and future opportunities.
  • Collaborate with preconstruction and business development teams on project pursuits, client presentations, interviews, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Support talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement efforts across the organization.
  • Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all company, regulatory, and industry requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, operational improvements, and technology adoption to enhance project delivery and organizational effectiveness.
  • Participate in executive-level decision-making regarding personnel, business performance, investments, market expansion, and organizational priorities.
  • Serve as a visible leader who promotes company values, strengthens culture, and supports a positive employee experience.

The Successful Applicant



The ideal candidate is a proven construction executive with extensive experience leading large-scale commercial construction operations and managing high-performing teams. They possess strong business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on operational leadership.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within commercial construction, including senior operational leadership responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated success overseeing multiple project teams and complex construction portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of project management, preconstruction, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and contract administration.
  • Experience managing financial performance, forecasting, resource planning, and operational metrics.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with executive leadership, clients, and project stakeholders.
  • Track record of building strong teams, developing future leaders, and creating a culture of accountability and engagement.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to drive organizational growth and operational excellence.
  • Knowledge of commercial construction markets and industry trends.
  • Results-oriented leader with high integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
