Job Description

  • Provide executive leadership across construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Lead and develop project executives, project managers, superintendents, and operational teams while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee project portfolio performance, financial forecasting, resource management, risk mitigation, and operational metrics.
  • Partner with executive leadership to execute business objectives, operational initiatives, and expansion strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, owners, architects, engineers, developers, and trade partners.
  • Support business development and preconstruction activities, including project pursuits, presentations, interviews, and client engagement.
  • Champion safety, operational excellence, innovation, and the adoption of systems and technologies that improve project delivery.

The Successful Applicant

  • Extensive leadership experience within commercial construction operations.
  • Proven success overseeing multiple projects, offices, or business units simultaneously.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, profit and loss, and operational performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing large project management and field operations teams.
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build lasting relationships and secure repeat business.
  • Experience collaborating with business development and preconstruction teams on strategic growth initiatives.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction management systems, scheduling platforms, budgeting tools, and operational reporting software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
