Job Description

Construction Foreman



    • Project Supervision & Execution
      • Oversee all on-site construction activities for luxury townhouse renovations.
      • Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
      • Maintain strict adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.


    • Technical Oversight
      • Demonstrate strong expertise in MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), ensuring proper installation and coordination across trades.
      • Supervise and inspect custom millwork fabrication and installation to meet design specifications.
      • Ensure proper installation and performance of HVAC systems, including integration within high-end interior environments.
      • Oversee installation of luxury finishes such as stone, tile, specialty wall treatments, custom cabinetry, and architectural details.


    • Quality Control
      • Maintain a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring all work meets the highest level of craftsmanship expected in luxury residences.
      • Conduct daily inspections and proactively address deficiencies or deviations from plans.


    • Site Management & Safety
      • Enforce strict adherence to NYC building codes, DOB regulations, and safety protocols.
      • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site.
      • Manage deliveries, logistics, and site access in tight urban environments.


    • Client & Stakeholder Coordination
      • Work closely with architects, designers, project managers, and ownership to ensure design intent is executed precisely.
      • Participate in site meetings and provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.


    • Problem Solving
      • Identify potential issues early and implement effective solutions to maintain schedule and quality.
      • Manage complex sequencing challenges typical of townhouse renovations and constrained NYC sites.

The Successful Applicant



  • Construction Foreman
    • Minimum 8-10+ years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in a Foreman or supervisory role.
    • Proven experience managing luxury residential projects, specifically NYC townhouse gut renovations.
    • Experience working with high-end architects and interior designers.


  • Technical Knowledge
    • Strong understanding of:
      • MEP systems coordination
      • Custom millwork and cabinetry
      • HVAC systems
      • High-end finish materials and installation techniques
    • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and MEP plans.
    • General knowledge of Building and Construction Codes


  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to craftsmanship and quality.
    • Ability to manage multiple trades in a fast-paced environment.


  • Licenses & Certifications (preferred)
    • OSHA 30 Certification
    • NYC DOB Site Safety certifications (as applicable)
    • Other relevant trade certifications are a plus.
