About Our Client

A well-established general contractor serving South Florida, specializing in commercial, multifamily, hospitality, and mixed-use construction projects. Their team is committed to delivering high-quality projects safely, on time, and within budget. As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler to support project planning, coordination, and execution across multiple projects.

Job Description

    • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
    • Create baseline, look-ahead, recovery, and updated project schedules.
    • Monitor progress, identify delays, schedule risks, and critical path activities.
    • Coordinate with project teams to collect updates and verify project status.
    • Analyze labor, material, and subcontractor performance against schedule goals.
    • Prepare scheduling reports for project teams, owners, and stakeholders.
    • Participate in project meetings and provide scheduling recommendations.
    • Assist with delay analysis, claims documentation, and schedule impact assessments.

The Successful Applicant

  • 4+ years of construction scheduling experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and scheduling principles.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
  • South Florida construction experience is highly preferred.
