We seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on a several ground-up biotech manufacturing facility project valued between $20M-$50M. This individual will be responsible for managing the client relationship across multiple sites, on-site leadership, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring execution meets the stringent quality and regulatory standards required in biotech environments.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through completion
  • Manage daily field operations, subcontractors, and site logistics
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with project management
  • Enforce jobsite safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning activities
  • Ensure quality control in alignment with biotech/pharmaceutical construction standards
  • Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and regulatory stakeholders
  • Identify and proactively resolve site issues to maintain schedule and budget
  • Maintain detailed daily reports and documentation

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications

  • 7-12+ years of construction experience, with significant ground-up project experience
  • Proven experience as a Superintendent on $20M+ commercial or industrial projects
  • Strong preference for experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, or GMP-regulated facilities
  • Deep understanding of MEP systems, critical infrastructure, and high-performance building systems
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, MS Project, etc.)
  • OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
