My client is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Leader to champion Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives across a network of manufacturing facilities. This hybrid position works closely with site leadership, engineering, and operations teams to implement sustainable process improvements, strengthen performance metrics, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Job Description

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across multiple manufacturing locations.
  • Partner with plant leadership teams to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping sessions, and structured problem-solving activities.
  • Support the development and execution of site-specific improvement strategies and operational road maps.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify productivity and efficiency improvements.
  • Standardize best practices and operating procedures across facilities.
  • Analyze operational data and key performance indicators to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Coach leaders and employees on Lean principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and change management practices.
  • Implement and sustain Lean tools such as 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, and Daily Management systems.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver measurable operational results.
  • Track, report, and present improvement project outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in manufacturing, operations, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement.
  • Proven track record leading Lean transformation and operational excellence programs.
  • Strong experience facilitating Kaizen events and process improvement initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, productivity improvement, quality systems, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to influence and drive change across multiple facilities and leadership levels.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Power BI, and performance reporting tools.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across multiple manufacturing locations.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (required).
  • Experience supporting automation and process optimization initiatives.
  • Background working within a multi-site manufacturing environment.
  • Experience implementing operational management systems and KPI-driven performance programs.
  • Previous leadership or management experience.
