This role will be responsible for financial reporting, team management, budgeting, cost accounting, compliance, and operational analysis.The Controller will serve as a key member of the leadership team, providing financial insight that supports both daily operations and long-term business objectives.Job DescriptionDirect all accounting activities and oversee day-to-day financial operationsManage, mentor, and develop accounting staffEnsure the timely and accurate completion of financial reporting requirementsMaintain strong internal controls and accounting proceduresProvide financial guidance to leadership on business performance and operational initiativesPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsAnalyze financial results and communicate key business trendsDevelop reporting tools and metrics that improve visibility into company performanceSupport presentations and reporting for lenders, ownership, and executive leadershipLead annual budgeting and forecasting processesOversee cost accounting activities and profitability analysisMonitor capital expenditures and fixed asset managementSupport inventory accounting and related operational controlsEvaluate business opportunities through financial modeling and analysisCoordinate external audits and respond to auditor requestsEnsure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulationsReview accounting workflows and implement process improvementsEvaluate systems, reporting capabilities, and process automation opportunitiesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
