The company offers a collaborative environment where engineers have direct impact on automation, reliability, and manufacturing performance.Job DescriptionDesign, program, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems.Develop and support HMI and SCADA applications.Maintain and support the facility's OT network infrastructure.Configure and troubleshoot industrial Ethernet and serial communication networks.Commission new production equipment and control systems.Perform hardware checkout, I/O verification, and safety validation activities.Configure and support VFDs, servo drives, motors, and motion control systems.Manage plant data acquisition, historian, and SCADA platforms.Develop production dashboards and automated reporting tools.Partner with IT to support machine networking and OT/IT integration.Create and maintain electrical schematics and technical documentation.Lead automation upgrades, retrofits, and improvement projects.Troubleshoot machine, controls, electrical, and network-related failures.Provide technical guidance to maintenance and automation personnel.Document system changes and corrective actions within company systems.Ensure compliance with safety programs including LOTO and electrical safety procedures.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
