Job Description

  • Support the design-to-production process by preparing and maintaining engineering documentation.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address technical challenges and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Utilize engineering software and analytical tools to evaluate designs and support product development initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications, drawings, and related documentation in accordance with quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with product development efforts, design reviews, and engineering calculations as needed.
  • Investigate product performance issues and recommend corrective actions when appropriate.
  • Support material selection, product enhancements, and other continuous improvement projects.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a 3.0 or higher GPA
  • Prior engineering internship, co-op, or professional experience preferred.
  • Experience using CAD/design software and standard business applications.
  • Exposure to product design, manufacturing environments, and engineering best practices.
  • Understanding of fabrication, machining, or other industrial production processes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with simulation, modeling, and design validation tools is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and customer-facing teams.
  • Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset and attention to detail.
