With a strong track record of acquiring, developing and managing high-quality real estate, the business combines institutional expertise with an entrepreneurial, people-first culture, providing employees with direct exposure to high-growth projects and significant career development opportunities.Job DescriptionReporting to the Vice President of Development, the Development Manager will support the successful execution of industrial and logistics developments across the full project lifecycle. The Development Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors and municipal authorities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.Identify, evaluate and support the acquisition of strategic development land opportunities.Manage due diligence activities including surveys, environmental assessments, geotechnical investigations, zoning reviews and entitlement processes.Oversee external consultants throughout planning, design and pre-construction phases.Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules and development underwriting models.Support leasing and business development initiatives through site planning, project feasibility and proposal preparation.Lead contractor procurement processes and assist with contract negotiations.Monitor project performance, mitigate development risks and report on cost, schedule and quality metrics through construction delivery.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
